Tomorrowland 2020 Cancelling Due to Covid-19
I remember coming across all the posts on Reddit and Facebook at the start of the year saying ‘what if Tomorrowland 2020 doesn’t happen?’
These comments were instantly shut down, lots of us saw that as an almost impossibly back in January.
Fast forward to mid-March when Europe started to shut down, we knew that it was actually almost impossible for Tomorrowland TO take place. This was unimaginable last year – it’s sure been a rollercoaster of a ride in 2020.

All About Greenfields by Dreamville in Durbuy
A couple of months ago, Tomorrowland/Dreamville came up with the awesome idea of starting their own luxury glamping experience in the beautiful countryside of the Belgium Ardennes. This all complete with a pool, yoga, food, and an adventure park nearby.
This means that people can stay in Dreamville, nicely spaced out and in nature. Light food, drinks, and entertainment mean that people can get their music fix with small DJ sets and all within social distancing rules.
When I first heard about it, I was psyched and I knew I was going to go almost as soon as it opened.
How Long Is Greenfields Going on For?
Greenfields will be open from 3rd July – 23rd August 2020.
Sadly, Greenfields is not a permanent thing and I very much doubt it will return in the future due to the logistics of the whole thing with Tomorrowland going ahead at the end of July every year. But never say never – if Tomorrowland can’t go ahead in 2021, I imagine it would open again.
Where is Greenfields?
Greenfields isn’t in Boom like the festival, but it is in Belgium. It’s located in the beautiful Belgian Ardennes and is close to the tiny city of Durbuy.
I’ve been to the region before and to Durbuy (a couple of years before I went to Greenfields) and the area is stunning. It’s an absolute must to go around and explore if you have never been before.
The address for Greenfields is: Route d’Oppagne and Rue Roche al Boule, 6940 Durbuy.
Where Can I Reserve Greenfields Accommodation?
You can book via their official site and also on Booking.com (which had free cancellation and was weirdly slighter cheaper when I booked).

6. Treehouse (2P)
When I saw the treehouse, I was like YES, I need to stay there. So I did.
After seeing it, I was confused about where it was in Tomorrowland, I googled it and it wasn’t showing up and it wasn’t on their accommodation list. After some digging, I found out it was in the Brew District, which is an exclusive part of Dreamville. It’s invite-only and usually where sponsors and some DJs stay. They get free food and drink and it looks epic.
I also found one of Armin van Buuren’s vlogs of him actually staying in the Treehouse. So you could say for most of us, staying here is pretty much a one-off, which also made me more likely to choose it as my accommodation of choice. Plus, it’s pretty damn beautiful!

Greenfields by Dreamville in Durbuy Review: Is It Worth the Price?
Greenfields was pretty pricey, but I did feel like it was a unique experience and very well decorated.
What you need to take into consideration is that you’ll need a fair bit of spending money for extra activities and food and drinks.
Overall, if you’re missing Tomorrowland and looking for a bit of escapism, then I think it’s definitely worth it.
